It's ridiculous. Have I really committed a crime here? Have I done something illegal? No! There are murderers walking the streets right now, there are thieves breaking into peoples'' homes.
There are very, very dangerous criminals out there and these people are coming after me for taking care of a poor, helpless animal. Is that breaking the rules? I don't think so. So I went before Linderman to plead my case. A small hearing was called with Clifford and Mr Linderman there.
My argument was simple. Based upon Section four, Paragraph two of the apartment lease which was signed to and agreed upon by myself and Clifford, the apartment manager, it states that no tenant shall be evicted without two prior notices, one of which must be written. I have yet to receive such warnings.
