Max said he never received any warnings about his dog. He is wrong. Warning signs are posted all over the complex. They were clear. No dogs allowed.

That counts as a verbal warning? Are you kidding me?
I had a feeling Max wouldn't understand. So I asked Tom Redman to come and speak before Mr Linderman in court.
I was surprised to see Tom there especially since he was Clifford's witness. But even so, it doesn't matter. I mean, I looked Mr Linderman in the eye and I said to him: 'Look, the reason why I maybe don't understand Clifford is because his personality doesn't match this job'. I mean, how can an apartment manager be non-confrontational? How can he be so quiet and closed-off?
I mean, I don't think I'm the problem here. Clifford is the problem.
I've been the manager of this complex for almost twenty years. I unclogged the Richardson's toilet when Sammy flushed the fish down it. I helped Mrs Brayden find her wedding ring when she dropped it out of her bedroom window. I clean up after these people. I protect them.
No one else is going to be as efficient as me. I do everything I can do to make these people's lives easier. Who else are these people going to feel more comfortable walking past and ignoring? No one, I don't ask for help. I just ask that things don't change.
That things stay the way they are supposed to be. Rules are rules.
