ELIZABETH:

First off, I just want to tell you that I think that people are the most important aspect of a company. That's why I'd you to head up our new intern program.

STUART:

An intern program? I could do that.

An intern program? I could do that.
ELIZABETH:

Great, great. Furthermore, I feel that every new employee that comes in should have a comprehensive induction.

STUART:

Like my induction?

ELIZABETH:

Well, I think we've learned from our mistakes.

STUART:

It sounds expensive.

It sounds expensive.
ELIZABETH:

True, it's expensive but we're expanding, and expansion is always expensive. But I think we'll benefit pretty soon. We'll have employees that will make less mistakes, communication will be better.

STUART:

What about the company organization? How shall I restructure?

What about the company organization? How shall I restructure?
ELIZABETH:

Well, as I was saying, I think that communication is a key element here. I'd like the managers to be clear on who they report to, and we need to be sure that our creative teams, our Design our Business Management they're all on the same page. Another easy solution would be weekly managerial meetings. I'd like to have the head of departments discuss short term, long term goals, maybe even have managers a forum for managers to discuss their problems with each other. Sorry, did I say something funny?

STUART:

It's just, you were speaking earlier about clearer communication, but all I've heard so far is nothing but an insane amount of vagueness.

ELIZABETH:

That's what I always appreciated about you Stuart, your honesty.

STUART0:

I think you have some great ideas but where you lack is in details and structure both areas which I excel at. Last night I came up with some terms and conditions and should you feel like you can abide by those I'd be happy to come back to work with you but not for you. I want to be VP of Project Development. I want more responsibility and I want to be in the room when decisions are made. Give it a look over and give me a call tomorrow, and let me know what we can do.

STUART1:

So long as you're willing to go by this. I'm willing to put everything else in the past, Elizabeth. I think we could do great things with each other and as long as I know you're willing to listen to me then I'll be willing to work with you.

STUART:

And if that's it. Then I'm getting out of here.

Alright, I'll look this over, thank you, and we'll talk tomorrow.
